As I mentioned yesterday in my Monday Muse post. This week was full of compliments that just made me smile and so excited about my progress. First one of my co-workers asked about my running (which I had to reply I have not been doing). She was surprised and said you are still losing weight, which of course I have been due to my diet. Just the fact that she could see I have been losing weight was a compliment.
Another co-worker mentioned that every time she sees me I’m just getting smaller and smaller and mentioned that she noticed how good I was each day at lunch time. Again how wonderful that she noticed.
When I went to the movies Friday with my mom and her girls (I posted about that here) All the girls were mentioning how much weight I had lost and how nice I looked. But the best, and let me say again the best compliment that I received was actually given to my mother, who thoughtfully let me know about it Sunday morning. After the movies most of the girls went back to her house while I headed home. In a conversation they were having my mother mentioned something about my 13 year old son and two of the girls looked at her quizzically not understanding how I could have a 13 year old son. As the conversation progressed my mother mentioned my age (and for those of you that do not personally know me yes this is my age) of 36. Both of the girls were surprised and said they thought I was in my 20′s!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that? I’m 36 and her friends that I was still in my 20′s! Is that not the BEST compliment ever! Of course I’m contributing some of that to my weight loss but all I can say is bless my mom’s friends for making my day!
Ok now that I’m smiling and extremely over joyed, I will mention that I did have a “free” eating evening Sunday. I did really good for the past two weeks and even did excellent at the movie theater bringing my own 100 calorie popcorn and water. By Sunday night though my cravings were starting to get the better of me so I decided to give in. I opted for one of my favorite’s Taco Bell, along with some chips and a candy bar later in the evening. Now that, that is out of the way I should be good for another week or two.
Weekly weight loss .5 lbs (a little disappointed because I was at 160.5 before Taco Bell, but it is what it is). Total weight loss so far 37.5 lbs.

Way to go! You are doing awesome. Having lost 40 pounds myself and still having 10-15 more to go, I know how hard it can be and how much effort you must be putting in. Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday!
