“Goodbye Wars”

This just consists of funny good by phrases my daughter has taught me during her year of kindergarten. (Some I knew but many I did not)

  • After A While Crocodile
  • See Ya Later Alligator
  • Bye Bye Butterfly (she knows that is my favorite)
  • See Ya Soon Raccoon
  • Out the Door Dinosaur
  • Take Care Polar Bear
  • Blow a Kiss Jellyfish
  • Bye Bye Said the Fly
  • Stay Sweet Parakeet (another favorite)
  • They just make me smile as she turns her head and shouts out a good bye and trots into the school! Do you have any morning rituals with your children?

  4. Those are adorable! My son’s preschool teacher reads a book to them at the end of every day with these rhyming goodbyes. It’s so cute! Some of them include: Chop Chop Lollipop, In An Hour Sunflower, Maybe Two Kangaroo – there’s more. If I get the name of the book I’ll be sure to share it.
