Kings Hawaiian BBQ $200 Gift Card Giveaway : Ends (6/17)

When the sunshine arrives and the pool starts to get a little warmer it is time for a family get together. Often just for no reason or on a holiday weekend the family will get together and spend a little bit of pool or beach time together. In fact this coming weekend we are planning on spending a little beach time at mom’s.

With each get together we always discuss our food options from grilled to chicken to baby back ribs. We love to change it up, but an easy fall back is hamburger and hotdogs. This weekend when I was shopping I picked up a pack of Kings Hawaiian hot dogs bun. They looked fresh and my son loves Kings Hawaiian so I figured they were worth a try.

Instead of hot dogs, however, we made some Italian sausage. My husband and I love a good Italian sausage on fresh bread, with onions, mustard, and cheese. It had been a while since I made such a meal so instead of waiting for a get together we had our own weekend barbeque and grilled them up Sunday.

My son had been asking all weekend if he could break open the Kings Hawaiian hot dog buns, not to eat a hot dog but to just munch on the bread. That is how much he loves their bread. I told him he had to wait, had to wait for our cook out. He was thankful when we finally got around to the cookout and he could enjoy his feast!
