Ok it is not “ALL” I got for Christmas but definitely “THE” Christmas present this year was from my thoughtful and wonderful husband. If you are a follower you may have remembered my post about losing my diamond ring. My husband wanted to replace it immediately but it wasn’t something we were financially ready to do. Turns out that was not going to stop my husband from getting me a new ring. I wondered why he was getting up so early each morning, turns out he was racking up the overtime to buy me this…
I didn’t realize how much I missed a diamond ring on my finger until it was replaced. We still need to get it sized but have to send it away to do so. In addition to the above I received some other wonderful gifts: jammies (I always ask for pj’s), clothes, perfume, dolphin necklace (from Australia), and some sentimental items with purple butterflies (significance of the purple butterfly).
My kids probably had the best Christmas ever thanks to some blogging endeavors this past year. Honey’s best gifts are her Barbie Dreamhouse and her My Twinn doll. My Twinn is on it’s way once again to the Doll Hospital. If you read my My Twinn Review you may remember I sent it off to have the eyes and hair color changed. I was hoping to show you a picture of the two of them together, my mother was amazed by the likeness, however she looks a little funny missing an eyelash. My Twinn is going to take care of that for me. However I do have a photo of the put together Barbie Dreamhouse which is so much cooler then in my days with working parts like the doorbell, toilet, fireplace, etc.
For the boys it was an electronically Christmas by far, no adjustable basketball goal hoop systems this year. In fact we just threw one out in the trash after many years of use. This year was the year of the XBox 360, XBox games, and a Kinect. We already own an XBox 360 however it is shared between the boys and my husband. My husband is NOT a huge gamer but he enjoys playing his sports games. So there are times when the boys would love to play but either my husband is or he is watching Sunday football. So this year the boys got their own XBox. I also really wanted to add a Kinect to our gaming portfolio. Turns out Honey LOVES the Kinect. She has played it everyday since Christmas. I’m hoping to get some video of her at one point. I love to watch her jump, twist, and dunk as she steers through the obstacle courses of Kinect Adventures.
