As the internet became a staple in most homes the way we do everyday things has taken a drastic change. The stamp increases in price every six months or so because we just don’t mail nearly what we use to. With online banking, paperless statements, and online shopping there is no need to mail a bill, a payment, or a catalog. I am one of those people that has totally embraced technology and the use of the internet in all ways. I pay my bills online. The only snail mail bill I have is my rent payment and I’m switching that over to having my bank mail the check this month.
If I had the option to order my groceries and have then delivered (without spending an arm and a leg) I would jump on that in a heartbeat. Going to the grocery store is one of my least favorite chores. It isn’t so bad when my husband comes with me because we spend time together talking and just enjoying being with each other. With Christmas looming (yeah I know it is August but never too late to plan) in the air I’ve already started seeing what kind of deals I can find at Target.com, Toysrus.com, and Amazon.com (my favorite of the three). I would much prefer to order my gifts online and have them shipped then fight the lines and crowds in the store.
One thing I will not purchase online for the most part is clothing. I don’t know about you but I can wear a size from 14-10 because no two items are made the same, at least that is true for women. I came across a new site Very.co.uk. Ok I didn’t come across it it was sent to me to take a look at. They have some cute outfits that if they weren’t UK based I might consider purchasing without the benefit of trying it on.
I love, love, love this outfit. I love the bell bottom like legs and the halter like top. It looks comfortable yet classy. This would be an outfit I would love to review.
I have a few friends that pretty much refuse to shop online. They are not too keen at putting their credit or debit card number into the computer. With all the cyber theft around it is hard to feel your information is completely secure. Some people just would prefer to have the item in hand when they leave the store then wait for it to ship to their house hoping it arrives in once piece. So with the new age of technology and computers do you like to shop online for the majority of your shopping? Or do you prefer the old school way of actually making your purchases in the store?
