Those have been to my blog a time or two know that I LOVE baking and doing crafts with Honey, my four (soon to be five) year old daughter. Sometimes it is not always easy finding the perfect craft for us to do. In fact I really need to get on the ball and do a little more I always have so much fun. Like the fun charm bracelets we made and the funky fun flip flops. Not to mention our baking adventures with our grilling brownies and our cupcake cuties.
Because Honey and I so enjoy our crafty fun I decided for her first ever “friend” birthday party we would bring our crafty fun to her friends. We knew we definitely wanted to do the charm bracelets because Honey had such a fun time with them, but we were kind of stuck on what else to do. When I saw The Kit Place, and some of the cute craft kits they sell I thought maybe this is the answer. I was so excited they were willing to allow me to review one of their kits.
The Kit Place has several types of kits such as Gift Kits which are cute kits that revolve around a them such as college and weddings. They have Individual Kits such as pizza, office, and traveling kits. They also have Group Kits which falls more into the category of what I was looking for. Kits for groups of people such as say maybe a birthday party? I let Honey choose which kit she would like to have at her birthday party. She choose Pinwheels and Candy. We received our kit book in a cute little white box neatly wrapped with a blue ribbon and logo.
“This kids crafts kit is made with fun and the summer time in mind. We will send you all the arts and crafts supplies you need to make pinwheels and sand art keepsakes to remember the weather by. Ages 6 and up.
This kit includes: Paper, pencils, brads, glitter glue, embellishments, sand, ice cream bottles with string and instructions to get you started.“
Honey’s eyes grew big when she saw all that was included with the kit. She became naming all the things her and her friends were going to do with it. The kit includes enough supplies for eight children to make both the pinwheels and the sand art necklaces.
As a mother trying to organize a child’s birthday party while trying to get ready for Halloween, run children to and from sports all weekend, and still manage to keep up with work and home being able to make one purchase and have everything delivered in one box to my door step for a birthday party was beyond awesome. This particular kit of eight sells for 39.99 at The Kit Place, however if you are looking for something fun for just you and your child you can purchase it as a single kit for 19.99. Here are just a few other cute kits you can purchase at The Kit Place.
The Kit Place is graciously offering one lucky reader any kit of their choice, this includes gift, group, or individual. You can get a fun kit for you and your child or a group kit for an event coming up.
