I just ordered my free photo calendar from Vista Print. This is my second purchase from Vista Print because yes I’m all about the free product, as long as the quality is good. I ordered some free business cards for my blog. I’ve had a few people ask me why I would need business cards for my blog? I have found them useful when talking to other mom’s at the baseball and soccer fields or at school. It is easier then keeping a pen and paper on me and then having the recipient lose it down the road.
Here is a photo of my business card that I created I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on it:
Anyway I wanted to tell you about the calendar I just ordered. I LOVE personalized items, from our Frecklebox lunch box to our Photoweavers Throw. I am all about photos of my family. My desk at work looks like a living memorial of the loves of my life with photos everywhere.
This morning I spent some time ordering my calendar. I will warn you that you may want to block off a little bit of time because you have so many options. I encourage you to pick your photos ahead of time and get all birthday and special events written down.
The first process is to upload your photos, no special order just upload. You then can pick a border or backgrounds for your calendar I LOVED this option. There were 5 pages to choose form. I choose this cute little animal background with a different background for each month. Here is a copy of my cover, see the cute animals, so adorable aren’t they?
Once you have selected your theme/border you can then place the photos into each month, not to worry you can edit the photos later. Vista Print will tell you if your photo is not of good print quality by placing a blue triangle over the photo. I know because I had to change one of mine. Once the photos are in order you can then go month by month to edit your photo by cropping it so it is centered how you would like it.
Here is the GREAT part. I LOVE that you can add events to your calendar. So I was able to add everyone’s birthday AND put a little photo of them in that day’s box. This is where I spent most of my time. I even added all NO SCHOOL days so I wouldn’t have to refer to the school calendar. Here are a couple shots of my calendar. If you click on the image you will see a bigger screen shot. See how I have the photo of my children on their birthdays and cute little icons for No School Days and Holidays. You can add these icons as well when you are customizing your calendar.
When all is said in done the calendar is free but you do have to pay shipping, however the shipping is extremely reasonable. The rates are:
5.67 – 21 day shipping
9.51 – 14 day shipping
13.68 – 7 day shipping
26.20 – 3 day shipping
Yes I waited too long to order my calendar and it won’t be here for the beginning of January. I went with the 21 day shipping for price reasons as I do have another calendar I can use until my Photo Calendar one Arrives. However you can’t beat the price? My order totaled 6.41 as I did pay .74 cents for my icons and photos within my calendar block to be colored instead of black and white. However $6.41 is the same price you would pay for any regular calendar. I am thrilled to have found this offer and can’t wait for my calendar to arrive.
You can click on the banner below to choose any of Vista’s Free Products from the business cards, calendars to labels. In each offer you do have to pay for shipping cost.
Disclaimer: This post is my honest opinion I was not asked or approached in anyway to post about these offers. I received the same deal each of you can receive by visiting the site. I sincerely think the free photo calendar is an awesome deal and wanted to share with all my readers This is part of a new section at Shibley Smiles called Steals and Deals
