What is your favorite summertime activity? Maybe you have more than one. Right now since we have moved into our new home the kids have been swimming, swimming, and swimming. I’m so excited to have our own pool. I grew up with a pool and have always wanted my kids to have one as well. With your own pool comes the need for some pool time essentials, specifically SUNSCREEN!

While it is essential to look and feel your best with oral care like Listerine or skin care with Aveeno skin relief. It is also important to make sure you are ready for the summer with a first-aid kit. Since this is a summer first-aid kit I strongly suggest you add some sunscreen to your kit. You never know when you may find yourself in the sun longer than you anticipated. Here in South Florida it doesn’t take long for your skin to feel the effects of the hot sun. For example my daughter decided she wanted to help her daddy with lawn work last weekend. I knew that even though she wasn’t in the pool or at the beach it was important that she protect her skin with sunscreen.
First-aid kit musts:
- Band-aid Bandages
- Gauze pads
- Cold packs
These are just a few I came up with and know there are a lot more important things that I need to add to my kit. In fact, I think it is best to keep a kit for our outdoor play handy in the back yard, and one in the car when we are on the go. The great thing about a first-aid kit that is packed and ready to go is you can bring it anywhere with you including vacation. On our recent cruise I made sure to bring one along with everything I might need in case of an accident. Thankfully there was no accidents during our family game of foosball.
What is one essential you always have to have for summertime fun?
