I had not heard of ebeanstalk.com and decide to give it a look and see what it was all about. One of the things I look for in a site when I don’t have a specific item I’m looking for is a way to narrow down my options. Ebeanstalk.com does this very well with a number of ways to search for items. You can search by category to narrow your choice by a specific type of item such as dolls, puzzles, construction toys, etc. Maybe you need to purchase baby gifts for a first birthday and you just have no idea what to get someone that age. You can narrow down your search by age group. What I love is their age group is not a broad range like 5-8 they group them by year such as toys for 2 year olds, toys for 3 year olds, toys for 4 year olds, I think you get the picture.
Ebeanstalk.com has wide range of toy selection from toddler toys, kids toys, all the way up to the age of 12. They have several different types of toys. Learning toys is one category that almost all mothers strive to find a toy they think will be a great fit for their child.
I decided to try out the ways above to narrow down the search for my daughter who will be having a birthday next month. I decided to go with age 5. I was then able to narrow it down to girls. I couldn’t help but love the first item I saw. If you have visited recently you will remember I posted about Honey wanting to take dance class. I also found a great bead set, Honey has really gotten into beading and making everyone cute bracelets.
After my review Ebeanstalk sent me a game to review with my daughter. We were sent I Spy Memory Travel Game.
The favorite I Spy Memory Game becomes mobile with I Spy Travel Edition Game from Briarpatch. Now memory challenges can happen anywhere with this handy travel edition, featuring the same mind-bending entertainment but with all new memory cards for more matching fun! It′s hard to find good gifts for 4 year olds, but this toy is one of the greatest! I Spy Travel Edition Game from Briarpatch also includes 5 new riddles to puzzle the mind! Set includes 20 memory cards and 5 riddle cards. MADE IN USA
So we took out the cards and spread them on the table to play a little I Spy. We played both the memory game, which is the classic flip and find matches and the I Spy game in which you give the player something to find from a riddle on a card and they search the upturned cards for the answer to the riddle.
My daughter really enjoy the I Spy riddle game more so then the matching game. The game was just a little too young for her but to be fair the game is listed under 48 months and as you know Honey just turned 5 yesterday. She does ask the boys to play the game with her. I think it would be more fun with a larger array of cards and a little more challenging. However that is just the mother in me talking. As you can see above she enjoyed playing with both of her brothers and this momma always loves games that all three kids will play together. The boys enjoy helping Honey learn and challenging her when they can.
Overall I think ebeanstalk is a unique site to find and purchase gifts. One of my favorite things about the site is there Grown and Learn Gift Series. Here is another review snippet:
One of the coolest things that ebeanstalk.com has is The Grow and Learn Gift Series. This is a unique idea, in fact I have never heard of it before and think it is a great gift. Instead of purchasing one gift, you purchase The Grow and Learn Gift this is actually four gifts that will be delivered in 3 month intervals depending on the age of your child. For example if you purchase this gift for a one year old your recipient will receive a toy that meets their developmental age at 1 year, 1 1/4 year, 1 1/2 year, and 1 3/4. It is definitely a gift that keeps on giving. This to me sounds like a great gift for a grandparent to give their grandchild.
