I’ve been doing a little soul searching about some things in my life my health, work, my relationship with my family, and my blog. So my blog is going to take a little unstructured turn. Which means I may not post things on such and such a day. I find I’m not only limiting myself to when I can post things but then stressing if I didn’t have anything to post. Like this cute little booger here “Kids Say the Cutest Things”. I’ve been doing them every Friday but I’ve been running low on things to say. So from now on I will just post them when they strike me. Just happen to have a cute one tonight.
A little background first. If you don’t know by now we are a household of six. My hubby, myself, my three children, and my mother in law. Honey spends a lot of time with her grammie because she only goes to Pre-K from 9-12 and is home with grammie the rest of the time.
So I get home tonight and my mother in law tells me that Honey said to her. “Grammie when you move out and I move in with you can we get a kitty cat.”
I’m thinking when she moves out? Why would she want to move in with her Grandmother and leave her mommy, daddy, and brothers. So I decided to have the conversation with her to find out a little.
I said, “Honey, your grandmother tells me you are going to move in with her when she moves out?”
Honey: “Yes and she is going to get a little kitty and a puppy.”
Me: “You want to move in with your grandmother? Won’t you miss me, your daddy, and your brothers?”
Honey ponders this for a minute: “It’s ok mommy I will come and visit you.”
I couldn’t help buy smile! I guess I should be thankful she will at least visit me!
