My Pal and My Sibling Dolls are so much more then your average doll. Yes they may look like an average doll, but the story behind the dolls is what makes them so unique.
About The My Sibling/My Pal Work Experience Program™
Our company recognizes that there are very few employment options available to teens and adults with disabilities. To help bridge this gap, LorettaRose, LLC offers these individuals, through the My Sibling/My Pal Work Experience Program™, an opportunity to participate in the assembly and packaging of its products.
The My Sibling/My Pal Work Experience Program™ provides work opportunities for teens and adults with disabilities: dressing, accessorizing, packaging, labeling of dolls; packaging, labeling and assembly of our other products, such as autism awareness items. We have developed relationships with public and private schools and adult programs who want real job experiences for their students and adult workers.
I just think the story behind the dolls and what they represent is amazing. I’m honored to have the chance to review the dolls. We received the My Pals for Christmas, the newest set of dolls to be released. As well as some cute Christmas teddy bears for both the dolls and Honey.
Honey goes through phases with dolls. Sometimes they adorn her shelf looking pretty, and sometimes I see her taking care of them. Honey was in need of some new dolls. We just retired quite a few that suspiciously had ink on all their faces. I’m hoping now that Honey is six and a little older she will refrain from adding her own form of tattoo which is usually a nice blue or black scribble.
About My Pal® dolls LorettaRose, LLC created the My Pal series to try to reach more families with our our mission. My Pals are 18″ boy dolls, girl dolls and plush toys, each of which has a socially relevant purpose or cause to promote.
My Sibling® dolls and their associated booklets will help children understand others who learn and grow differently than they do. Please read more about our stories that depict everyday situations in the lives of children who have siblings with disabilities.
Honey loved her dolls and her teddy bear. Sometimes I think you are never too old to play, or at least to pretend. After this cute photo session with her dolls named Cassie and Baby Louie (which just happen to be characters from a book we were recently reading), I found her in her room putting Cassie in her baby bouncy chair. She walked with the house with Baby Louie minus his Christmas cap and they both slept next to her.
Before we were sent our My Pal dolls we were able to chose the hair, eye, and skin color. Cassie has brown hair and blue eyes to resemble Honey. Both dolls are 18″ tall and have poseable head, arm, and legs. Honey loves that when you lay the baby doll down it closes it’s eyes.
My Pal for Christmas 18″ boy & girl dolls are full of holiday cheer, and a great gift for children who are celebrating Christmas!
Booklet “My Pal for Christmas” (made in USA) gives children the lyrics of traditional Christmas carols that they can sing with their doll: “Away in a Manger,” “Hark! the Herald Angels Sing,” “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night,” and “What Child is This?” In the booklet there is also space provided for children to write about their own thoughts on celebrating Jesus’ birthday, how they “Keep Christ in Christmas,” and sharing the joys of the season.
