Ever since I was a kid I LOVED rainbows. Any rainbows anywhere, even the ones you see in puddles. I knew quite early on the colors and the order they appeared. I drew rainbows on everything with clouds, hearts, and even pots of gold. Every time I see a rainbow I run for my camera and try to capture it before it disappears.
Yesterday hubby, Honey, and I were headed into the mall. We had to wait for the rain to let up. I turned my head and looked up…
What was odd was I noticed in the photo a hint of a double rainbow. However when I looked back up at the sky I could not see the second rainbow. I took another photo and again it appeared in my photo.
The rainbow can be described as a Universal symbol of Harmony, and can therefore be recognized by all, whatever language or creed, for it is the symbol of pure life, and has often been denoted as the bridge between God and Man.
Rainbows make me smile, they make me happy. I’ve always felt that it was a gift from God and his way of saying everything is going to be alright!
This rainbow, however was from my father, because I was just thinking that tomorrow (or now today May 4th) is or was his birthday! So Happy Birthday Dad!
