I was getting ready for work this morning and plucking my eyebrows and remembered a tip I read somewhere and thought I would give it a try. In doing so I thought about how many tips you read or get and how many are actually true so I thought “Ta-Da” that would be a great post. So the question we are answering is, is the tip
Fact: a statement or assertion of verified information about something that is the case or has happened
Malarky: Speech or writing designed to obscure, mislead, or impress; bunkum:
Ouchless Eyebrow Plucking: rub orajel on your brows before plucking. I have NO idea where I read this but thought I would give it a try. My opinion: Malarky
Hiccup Cure: a teaspoon of sugar water. My opinion: Fact (it is my grandma’s solution and it works everytime)
Ketchup Bottle: you know when get a new bottle (that is bottle not plastic) of ketchup and you sit there and hit the bottom of the bottle to get the ketchup out. Hit the imprinted 57 (for Heinz) on the neck of the bottle instead of the bottom. My opinion: Fact
Induce Labor: they say walking will help start your labor. My opinion: Malarky. I walked up and down that damn hill in Virginia for an hour NO BABY until a week later!
Better Speller: the more you read I was told when I was in school, the better speller you will become. My opinion: Malarky , trust me I’m living proof!
De-Scratch Disc: use toothpaste to de-scratch your DVD’s, CD’s, or Xbox games. My opinion: Fact/Malarky….sometimes it works and sometimes it don’t!
Note addition (8/10): Tooth ache Remedy: I totally forgot about this one that SmashBravo mentioned. Vanilla extract is good to help ease the pain of a tooth ache. My opinion: Fact
Thank you for being here for my first and probably only edition of “Random Tips: Fact or Malarky“. If you have a weird tip that works I would love to hear it!
