When it comes to plannng a trip or vacation I'm definitely not the most creative. Most of our family vacations end up revolving around a theme park of some sort. That is due to us being in driving distance from Orlando. However I would love to take a vacation some where new I just never know what to do. We never took many family roadtrips when I was young.
This new trip planner called Roadtrip-a-Matic that helps plan pa-roadtrips has some very interesting features. For examle when I visited the site the first thing I noticed is several boxes to chose from depending on the type of trip I would like to take.
If I were planning a family vacation I would definitely be looking for activites that are family friendly and the kids would love and remember. So I chose the box labeled Kidsylvania. Once I selected the box I was presented to three options. Each option gives you a list of destinations based on your choice of trip. Not knowing what to do on vacation is such a big problem for me that this is a huge help in trying to figure out what to do.
I love that someone else has done all the leg work, that I can just tell them what type of vacation I would like and I am handed a vacation in a box. All I have to do is pack my bags and follow the intierary. My vacation plan I chose had us visitng the Please Touch Museum, Philadelphia Zoo, Fairmount Water Works, and more.
When you are vacationing out of state it is hard to figure out where to go, or even worse trying to find your away around the city. Roadtrip-a-Matic not only plans your trip but provides you with maps to get you to your destinations. Maybe you don't want your whole trip planned but just want to find a campground, a vacation home, or a resort. You can find great ideas for your trip such as where to stay, destinations, ideas, and trip tools.
