Spice It up with International Delight #IDBaking

So the truth is I don’t drink coffee, in fact I’ve never owned a coffee machine. So you would think then why would I need to buy coffee creamer. Well have you seen some of the fun and awesome seasonal flavors by International Delight? Smores, Heath, Salted Carmel Mocha, and more. These are sure to make any coffee, drink, or yummy dessert tasty. I love to add coffee creamer to my hot chocolate. It has been so long since I had plain hot chocolate I wouldn’t even know what it taste like. I couldn’t decide what flavor I wanted to try so I bought the three pictured here, there are some additional flavors as well like Pumpkin Pie Spice, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Peppermint Mocha. If you act now you can grab a coupon by visiting the Share your Delight Facebook App.

After you grab your coupon I strongly suggest you learn more about the Share Your Delight program. Just register the UPC code from a specially marked bottle of International Delight®, Silk®, Horizon® or LAND O LAKES®. Every bottle means 50¢ for the Coats for Kids Foundation. By taken action know you can help them reach their goal of $100,000. I have registered my three bottles of International Delight.

So what exactly can you do with International Delight besides put it in your coffee and hot chocolate? Well surprisingly you can cook and bake with it. There are tons of recipes that include coffee creamer or substitute it in place of milk. This is great because with three bottles I know I won’t be drinking THAT much hot chocolate and would prefer to use it up and not let it go to waste. If you are looking for some awesome and tasty recipes using International Delight check out the Holiday Baking Pinterest Board that is full of recipes and ideas.

I myself tried to be creative and whip up something fun. I really wanted to convert a peanut butter fudge recipe I have into a Peanut Butter Heath Delight. However I’ve never made fudge before and as I write this I’m not so sure it is going to set properly. So instead I had to fall back on something a little easier, pudding. Pudding is an easy and flexible holiday dish. I decided to add a little bit of the Heath International Delight to my pudding to give it a different taste.

Chocolate Heath Pudding
Cook time
Total time
Change your chocolate pudding into something a little more delightful
Recipe type: Dessert
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • ⅔ water
  • 3 tablespoons of Heath International Delight
  • 4 egg yolks (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla
  1. In a medium heavy sauce pan combine sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Stir in milk, water, and Heath International Delight.
  3. Cook and stir mixture over medium heat until it becomes think and bubbly.
  4. Then cook an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir, then add egg yolks (already beaten).
  6. Heat again to bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and cook and stir for 2 more minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla
  8. Cover and chill

Just a few notes. You need to be careful how much International Delight you use as too much can leave an after taste. Also the change is slight and I would love to try this again with the Peppermint Mocha.

The International Delight Facebook page shares coupon savings and a chance to share your delight this holiday season.
