When you mention “Triscuits” there is one thing that comes to my mind. That would be my father. My father always had a box of Triscuits in the house and I could often find him after work with grapes, Triscuits, cheese, and a glass of wine. Though you can still find the original Triscuits did you know there is a NEW line of Triscuits crackers made with “real” food? Take a look at just two of them when I put together a small snack in memory of my father (sans the glass of wine).
These two flavors were the ones that appealed to me the most. They make, not only an awesome snack, but also a great way to feed your guest at any party. With the NEW line of Triscuits including real foods such as sweet potato, brown rice, and red beans, this is a way to serve your guest some tasty appetizers while feeling good about the food you are choosing to serve. Having struggled with my love of junk food all my life I try as much as I can to incorporate real food into my diet and feel much better when I serve the same to my family and friends.
A simple Triscuit and cheese platter is a great appetizer at any party. Paired with some fruit and veggies and you have served up a tasty yet well balanced plate of goodness. In fact I think a Fit and Healthy party would be a great way to get your friends together and all enjoy talking about what each of you do to keep fit. Whether it be exercise or how to take a traditional meal and make it with real foods and less of the junk. Instruct each party guest to bring a recipe card of a re-vamped meal. They should bring a copy for each guest. Or chose an item like the NEW Triscuits and ask each guest to create a recipe to share.
Incorporating real food into your party is just one way to make sure you are giving others a great time without all the unwanted stuff that can come with some foods. Check out all the NEW Triscuits flavors: http://pinterest.com/TRISCUIT/brown-rice-wheat/
A new take on an old favorite. Enjoy the new line of Triscuit baked with whole grain brown rice and wheat, some with real food ingredients like sweet potato or red beans.
