I had the pleasure of reviewing the new menu at Bonefish Grill this past Friday night.
I am a big fan of Bonefish Grill so when I got the offer to review the new menu I couldn’t wait to try it. I invited a couple of girlfriends to join me at the Bonefish near me. We had a reservation for 7:30. When we arrived it was extremely busy which is common for a Friday night. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who informed us it would be only a short wait as they were cleaning off our table now. Within 10 minutes we were sitting in our booth and one of the managers came up to introduce himself. We chatted for a short while and he informed us that our waiter would be Daniel. Daniel arrived with a big big smile and warm bread with their special dip, he described what was in the dip and informed us he was in training which we would have never known if he hadn’t told us. He described the specials in full detail, he was amazing and he made all of them sound so delicious I wanted one of everything. He took our drink order and gave us plenty of time to look over the new menu.
I normally start out with either a Bang Bang Shrimp or Mussels (both to die for) but one of the girls doesn’t like seafood so we decided to forget about the appetizer this trip. Everything on the new menu sounded so inviting it was very hard to choose. I love their Lily’s Chicken but I was there to try something new so I debated between the Spicy Tuna Bowl and the Spring Basil Fettuccine. Once Daniel came back to take our order he was very helpful in explaining what was in each dish and answered questions like is it spicy etc. I finally decided on the Spring Basil Fettuccine ( and now that I see the picture of the Spicy Tuna Bowl above I will for sure be ordering that the next time I go to Bonefish Grill).
I was so very pleased with this dish it was spectacular to say the least. The flavor is hard to describe, it was refreshing and each bite seemed to change the flavor of the dish it was extreme yummy. One of my friends got the Lily’s Chicken so we shared our entree with each other and I can tell you there was not a drop of food or sauce to be found left on our dishes. I enjoyed an after dinner Espresso Martini and the girls enjoyed a dessert.
The food was beyond excellent as was our server Daniel. He was such a joy to have as a server, his smile and wonderful attitude was delightful, in fact when I go back I will make sure to ask for him again. I mean just take a look at him in this picture with us, you can just see why we enjoyed him so much. Thanks for a wonderful evening Bonefish Grill and great service Daniel.
