So I decided to poll my family as to what they thought would be the “Ultimate Family Vacation” should I ever have the time and money to plan one of course. I began with my husband and his answer was pretty typical of most questions, “I don’t know” to be fair to him I didn’t give him much of a chance to think about it.
Next up Buddy, he really did not have to think much about this. He was all to eager to let me know that his “Ultimate Family Vacation” including a theme park, a theme park, and of course a theme park. Living in Florida that shouldn’t be too hard to accomplish. Buddy said he would like to take one week and stay at the Nickelodeon hotel. (Here are a photo from our previous stay at the hotel).
During this week at the hotel where we would wake up and swim in the morning and play in the arcade in the evening, we would be attending ALL the theme parks he said. Such as Disney World, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure. No mention of Epcot in there or MGM Studios, not his favorite he said. We did once spend 4 days doing this and I guess it left an impression enough so that he wants to do it again.
Nick asked me what his choices were, and I explained no choices what would you want to do? Camping, theme parks, football games, visit another country, etc. He decided he would love to go on the Nickelodeon Cruise. (I guess my kids definitely support Nickelodeon). I have to say after reading a little about what the cruise offers it sounds rather exciting. I’ve always wanted to go on a cruise and one day I know that I will.
So you may ask what is my “Ultimate Family Vacation”. Well I’m going to go a little sappy here and say it would be anything in which both my children and family had a great time. We have done the theme park quite a few times and I would love to something else that is equally fun. Such as the cruise. I would love to say a trip to a tropical paradise but I think that would be a better vacation for just me and the hubby. My husband and I have always wanted to visit Jamaica and New York so those two are on my bucket list. As for a family vacation I’m seriously stuck, I would love some ideas on what you have done in the past and what has been the most fun!
