I hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July and the weather in your area was dry. We have been having a lot of rain here in South Florida and this past weekend was no exception. However thankfully Sunday, the day we celebrated the holiday with the family, turned out to be a nice day. After awaking to loud rumbles of thunder it soon died out and was replaced by a little ray of sunshine. It was party cloudy which was perfect for barbeque.
The family and I packed up to head to my sisters where we were meeting my mother and her husband and family. My husband made his awesome baked beans and we brought a boat load of chips as our contribution to the munchies. I finally got a chance to try on my new swim suit from Cyberswim. Ignore the ghost like legs I so need a tan!
My daughter was not so fortunate with her swim suit. Her favorite suit that she received from the “Easter Bunny” this year had an ugly incident with the washer or dryer. Some how it came out without the clasp. So she ended up with a mix matched swim suit. That didn’t slow her down a bit.
Thankfully as I mentioned the weather held out for the most part and we enjoyed some ribs, made by my brother-in-law and sister but my mom’s AWESOME best ribs ever recipe. In addition we did make a traditional 4th of July meal for the kids, hot dogs of course.
The kids spent the majority of the time in the pool as the adults jumped in occasionally for a dip.
We bathed in partly cloudy sky, ate some awesome grub, had some yummy dessert (see below) and had a great time just chillin’ with the family. It was a relaxing 4th of July celebration and the best part is it was only Sunday!

It’s great that she’s too young to really care about her swimsuit. You look terrific in yours, and yes please to those cheesecake bars!
