Oh this special day, the day of love I publically write this letter to my husband:
To My Husband,
I am practical. I am logical. I am anything but romantic. This you know about me and grudgingly accept. I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not. I’m not a mushy, lovey dovey, heartfelt card kind of person. I always go with the funny and humor, because I enjoy to smile and laugh.
I’m writing this today to tell you for that acceptance of me I love you. I love you for going to the grocery store with me every Sunday morning. I love that you prefer that I go to the gym with you then going alone. I love that you are always reaching for the stars and are sometimes not satisfied until you grab one. I love your faith that one day we will win the lottery. I love your faith in God and your hope for a bigger and brighter future. I love that you support my need to be creative and sit on the computer hours on end.
I love you for so many things that if I tried to list them all I would forget a hundred and then a hundred more. Your love and support mean the world to me. My life is my family and that family began with you!
We have had our ups and downs as any couple has but in the past 3 years our marriage is stronger then it has ever been. I can look to the future and imagine the day when it is just you and I. I imagine us doing things we have talked about traveling to New York, Jamaica, Italy, and anywhere we desire. I imagine us still biting the bullet and getting to the gym.
Your heart and love is my rock. I want to continue to hold your hand everyday and navigate through our life together as friends, parents, lovers, and partners.
I love you very much! Happy Valentines Day!
Valentine’s Day is a fun day to remind you of love, but I must stress that you should show your love every day to those you love. If these means a quick phone call, a kiss good bye, or just a smile. Show those you love how much you love them everyday as if it was your last.
