That is the question I posed to each member of my household. It is a debate my husband and I often have, he thinks it is ridiculous to make things so spicy. I say pour on the spice! So our tally makes us a house divided!
Team Spicy
Mom (that’s me)
Nick
Grandma
Team Mild
Dad
Buddy
Honey (she is only 5 it is to be expected!)
Nick and I are really the spicy people in the whole group. One of our favorite things to enhance the flavor of our food and get the best out of each bite is TABASCO® Original Red. Yep, we always have a bottle in the house. You wouldn’t think a 10 year old could appreciate the flavor but my son LOVES his spicy food. He loves buffalo wings and hot fries. He just recently discovered TABASCO Original Red and now asks to put it on everything. When I say everything I do mean everything. He ask to dip his chips in it, add it to a sandwich, or his favorite, smother his pizza in it. Now after a few bites you can often seem him dancing around. TABASCO® Original Red is not for the week it is “So Much More Than Hot”
I usually use TABASCO® Original Red on my Mexican flavored foods such as fajitas and tacos. YUM! In fact without it, they just don’t taste the same. If I happen to be out I will usually either run out and get some or save the food for another day.
With the Super Bowl right around the corner, a day for snacks and guilty pleasuring food, my son has issued me a challenge! That challenge is to see who can eat the most pieces of pizza with TABASCO Original Red on it. YIKES! He may be ten but this kid is a tough opponent, trust me!
So I was thinking maybe I should spike some of his PRE pizza food with Tabasco (insert evil laugh). I’m checking out some party foods Game-Day Party Menu to gear up for the big event. If you enjoy a little spice in your life I suggest you check it out as well! Or maybe I should check out this Pizza Perfected as well and find out some great ways to top my pizza with our beloved sauce.
The bottom line is no matter what my husband thinks about food being to spicy and just not worth the hassle Nick and I think it makes our food taste better!
YOUR ON NICK may the best MOM win!!!!!!!!

I never really thought of myself as spicy, but I guess I am. My personal favorite is Tapatio, yum. Ok-now I'm hungry:)
