So yesterday I let you know about our Chevy Rockin’ Ride experience in my post I “Heart” My Chevy Experience. As promised today I thought I would share the rest of our fun day. After we left Chevy all of us ladies in our four Chevy cars drove over to Contour Spa . Despite a few detours and waiting for our hostess to make her way to the spa (turns out her knowledge of where it was wasn’t quite as good as she thought it was), we all finally arrived in one place.
Our visit started out with a relaxing wash. I’m a little disappointed that I didn’t manage to get the tender loving care that Zippy did as she bragged about her scalp massage not to mention the hottie that was giving it to her.
After my wash I had my make applied by their expert, and then followed up with a new do!
I actually got quite a lot of compliments on my hair the next day at work. Everyone asked if I got a hair cut. I had actually gotten a hair cut on Tuesday, but I guess it took a good stylist for people to notice.
After the spa we got to tour Dr. G’s Weight Loss and learn a little bit about their program as well as get our body fat analysis taken. YIKES! I wasn’t too worried since I’m currently working at lowering it and it really didn’t matter what the numbers were I knew I was taking action.
We left the spa and headed over to Carrabba’s for dinner. I had planned on ordering something for the most part healthy such as grilled chicken or something of that nature. However we were given a choice between two different meals. I told them to just give me whatever didn’t contain tomato sauce. I ended up with Chicken Marsala which was just heavenly, combined with the Caesar Salad it wasn’t the healthiest meal by any means but it sure did taste good.
Our last stop was the Town Center mall where we were treated to some professional dancing and a small sample bottle of perfume from Nordstrom’s in which we were able to chose our scent. We each received a ticket to enter into a raffle of our choice. I chose the Shape-Up shoes by Sketchers but unfortunately my number was not selected.
Over all the event was really fun, and with all that we did the best part for me was meeting everyone. It was great to meet some people that for the most part are in my area. Zippy from Champagne Living is a hoot and one of the most energetic people that I’ve ever met. I hope to spend some time with her at events in the future. I had a great time meeting up once again with Bernadette from Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas who I met briefly at the HOP event, but didn’t really have a chance to talk much then. In addition I got to meet Anne from Mommy Has To Work, whom I had been trying to meet up with at our local ball field because both of our boys play for the same league. She is really local and the closest to me of all the girls I met Thursday.
I big thanks to Chevy and our host Heather Lopez for an awesome event! I look forward to seeing all these awesome ladies again during future South Florida Events.
