Big G Cereal Heroes
Nothing starts off a good day with a great breakfast. I have heard of people that just don’t “do” breakfast and I don’t know how they get through the day. I eat breakfast every day whether I’m at work, home on the weekend, or taking a relaxing vacation day. One of my favorite breakfasts is simply a bowl of cereal. Even as an adult I prefer cereal to many other breakfast dishes. Without a good breakfast how could I be….SUPERMOM!
Now “Supermom” is a relative term depending on who you are talking too. This mom works full time, gets dinner together one way or another, blogs full time, and still manages time for school projects and kids sports. That is definitely a Supermom in my book…though I envy Rachel from Following In My Shoes she has totally got the supermom thing going on. Whether I’m a working mom, a tired mom, or yes a Supermom I still need my daily dose of get me started in the morning. In fact, sometimes you can catch me in a rare moment by myself eating a bowl.
Back by popular demand, in March 2014 Big G cereals and DC COMICS are teaming up to make your morning (or anytime you eat cereal) more fun! Specially marked boxes of General Mills Big G cereals will include four exclusive collectible in-box comic books featuring various Super Heroes from the iconic JUSTICE LEAGUE from now until the end of April 2014. A bonus fifth issue is available exclusively at Target in boxes of Cheerios™. All specially marked boxes also include wearable, cut-out Super Hero costume pieces.
So a little history about my “Super Hero” pose above. As part of this fun and amazing campaign to help foster confidence in your children I was asked to strike my best Super Hero pose. Did you know that by striking a pose that makes you look confident, you actually gain confidence? Ok maybe my pose doesn’t look confident but I think it says exactly that…I am confident enough to take a goofy photo and post it here on the world wide web for all to see.
My daughter was totally into the photo and picked out all my props and told me how to stand and what to do (my daughter is 8 and is obviously preparing for a blogging career). She had a blast taking photos. During our photo session my 16 year old son came out and just couldn’t stop laughing. I told him laughing at yourself is a sign of confidence so I laughed with him.
We want to inspire YOU to do the same, by purchasing a specially marked box of Big G cereal we want kids (and adults!) to put on their cut-out costume pieces from the back of the box and strike a Super Hero pose at breakfast time to gain the confidence they need to tackle the day. Whether it is a child getting ready to face a long day at school, a test, or a big game. Or an adult needing energy to face the busy work day, the mounds of laundry, or an interview. Show us your super hero confident pose and share via Facebook, Twitter, Instgram, etc using the hashtag #SuperHeroing.
Specially marked boxes of Big G cereals now contain four exclusive issues of DC Comic books featuring the JUSTICE LEAGUE. Available for a limited time only from now through April. If you already have your Big G Cereal and comic book you can read part two of your comic book here: Big G Cereal Heroes

Ok, I’m having a hard time noticing anything other than what a great super mom you make! Love it!
My husband was always a fan of the Justice League and is already teaching our son about it.

Okay, this just made me tickled seeing you all decked out as Super Mom complete with the mask. I agree with you that breakfast is an important meal of the day. Honey Nut Cheerios is actually one of my life long favorites. I couldn’t help but notice that even with the kids gone, you had Twix in your bowl. Don’t you know “Silly woman, Trix are for kids.” 🙂 (I think you were looking to see if we remember that one and were paying attention. lol
