Do you participate in the biggest shopping day of the year? I know for so many it is a tradition past done from generation to generation. It is amazing how Black Friday has transformed over the years with stores now opening on Thursday. While part of me says that just isn’t right, the other part of me says if you celebrate early and enjoy your family and the evening is yours why not shop! Or maybe you want to start a new tradition where the entire family after a day of football, food, and family shop more power to you. I, however, am sitting here writing from the comfort of my home. I will get online and look over the deals and I may even place an order or two but you won’t find me participating in the made rush of Black Friday. Here is a little Black Friday humor I have come across and thought I would share for all those shoppers that do enjoy Black Friday.
Black Friday Humor
Black Friday Humor #1: This one is so me on many occasions and not just Black Friday, however you can’t help but feel you have accomplished something monumental when you get such a great deal!
Black Friday Humor #2: Who doesn’t love the Hunger Games!
Black Friday Humor #3: And really how good are the sales anyway?
Black Friday Humor #4: As someone who lives in South Florida this is so true!
Black Friday Humor #5: Just make sure you keep them fingers safe!
Now that you have had a little chuckle to get your week started off just right. Grab your purse, your wallet, and your credit cards and tackle that shopping list, wait have I sent you mine?

That top one is golden advice! I keep telling my daughter that, if something is on sale but you don’t need it, you’re not saving any money! I’m not into Black Friday shopping but my Mom wants to go, so we’ll head out later this afternoon when the crowds dissipate some.
Julie says
The first one definitely rings true! I know so many people who will buy something just because it’s on sale, even if they’ll never use it. Of course, I think the same thing when I watch Extreme Couponing. And I wonder how they’re actually going to use 12 cases of Imodium. 🙂
Lisa - Between the Kids says
Isn’t that the truth about shopping before a hurricane!!! I’m staying home today! 🙂 Of course, it’s also the same when those of us in the south get threatened with a little ice! hahaha
Kelsey Apley says
HAHAHAHAHA Hilarious!!! I am not a huge black friday shopper, I can’t handle all the chaos!! Love this, thanks for the laugh!
Karen says
I braved Black Friday for the first time today. I went to Game Stop to get my daughters an XBox 360. I was surprised at how empty the stores were. I even had to go to the location at the mall and parked in one of the first five parking spaces! The surprisingly busy store was T-Mobile, where I had to go to get my daughter’s phone taken care of.
Panda says
All of these had me laughing real hard – so thanks. I love a bargain but would never brave a Black Friday sale !
Toni says
These are totally hilarious
Jennifer @TheRebelChick says
ROFL!! So true! I do Black Friday shopping, but I don’t go out until around lunchtime. I went around 10 today and the mall wasn’t very full at all.
Marcie W. says
How funny! This is the first year I haven’t participated in Black Friday due to stores opening on Thanksgiving. It’s a time that I feel should be kept a bit more sacred.
Angela says
I agree it could be considered the Hunger Games — it has gotten crazy!
I am really looking forward to Cyber Monday myself!
Stefanie says
LOL I went out these year to get something my daughter wanted. I saved $80 on the item and the crowds weren’t too bad.
Kathleen says
LOL We only went out later today and I just bought clothes for myself lol. I just couldn’t deal with staying up until wee hours and standing in huge lines.
Rhiannon Rowland says
I didn’t even venture out today! But I’ve been out to many of them before, I find the majority of it humorous, except the ones where people are getting trampled or killed.
Theresa @ Faith and Family Reviews says
These are so funny! I love them all and no, I don’t go out on Black Friday for some of these reasons 😀
Mickey says
I went out on Black Friday once and saw the kind of fighting and linebreaking that makes the news. I won’t go again. Those cartoons are so right! 🙂
Leilani says
The third one is spot on! lol.
Shell Feis says
LOL okay those were pretty good- the last one made me laugh out loud!
Deb E says
Yes the irony of it all makes be vote for the first one. We should be thankful for what we have already. Can I get an amen?!
Deb E says
I was referring to the shopping cart lady, not the very first one, ha. All are spot on though.
Ellen Christian says
So true. I do not shop on Black Friday unless totally unavoidable.
Anne - Mommy Has to Work says
The prices are the same if not better a few weeks later, so I skip it, except for the poinsettas at Home Depot.
HilLesha says
Haha. Isn’t that the truth? Truth be told, the best time to shop for deals is AFTER CHRISTMAS. 😉
Donna says
I’ve never ever shopped on Black Friday. I may do a little Cyber Monday shopping, but I do any shopping for myself, after Christmas.
Tiff @ Babes and Kids says
It’s so true how much money we jump to spend on black friday. That said, it’s such a fun day to go shopping!
Crystal @ Simply Being Mommy.com says
I didn’t do Black Friday shopping this year. It felt good to stay away from all the crowds.
Rachel says
The first one is hilarious. I went one time to buy pj’s. NEVER AGAIN!
Liz Mays says
I love being at home on Black Friday and just decorating, baking and shopping online. No crowds for me!
Jenn @ EngineerMommy says
LOVE these… so funny! The third one was the funniest to me!
Penelope says
Oh my gosh, EVERY SINGLE ONE made me laugh so hard!
Ty says
I’m laughing out load at all of these, too funny!
Crystal says
Ohhhh, that last one is so sad but true! I love shopping for my relatives and I’m trying not to go overboard this year.
HilLesha says
I can’t help but laugh, because these are so true! That’s why I refuse to shop on Black Friday. 🙂
Colleen Shibley says

Jackie says
These are great! I like to do a little Black Friday shopping, but find it I go around noon, the early morning crowds are gone….and I leave before the evening crowd shows up.
Sarah L says
I am thankful for what I have all year long. I’m thankful that I don’t shop that day.
Christine Hess says
The 1st picture is so true and when i started shopping on black Friday i thought this way, not any more
Cynthia R says
Lol these are so funny, so true too. I used to do some black friday shopping, but not lately, I haven’t got anything I really really need to get in order to get that awesome deal.
ellen beck says
Gosh I detest Black Friday. I much prefer cyber Monday. I mean oe year my brother in law needed a TV Best Buy had them cheeap. We stood iin line, it was no kidding -30 below and dark. We found out the store only had 20 and we were maybe 200th in line. I was so ticked.
They (the store) didnt care folks were out there, the only money we spent there was on hot cocoa- there was a very smart venddor sselling cocoa. He made a killing that morning!
Rhiannon Rowland says
Glad to have skipped the madness today, but having shopped black Friday in the past I can enjoy the humor!
Rosie says
I did get some good chuckles! I’m always wanting to go shopping on black Friday, but to tell you the truth I can’t deal with the crowds! I love bargains so I feel I’m missing out!
