One thing I love about my daughter and I encouraged as she grew was to eat what she wanted when she wanted. I don’t mean she could have candy for breakfast and ice cream for dinner. I mean who decided that pancakes, eggs, and cereal are only for breakfast? When my daughter was about 4 years old one of her favorite things to eat for breakfast was green beans. Now what mother would ever say no to a child asking to eat vegetables? Definitely not this one!
I have been known to eat a bowl of cereal for dinner, especially if I had a late lunch and don’t really need a full size dinner. This is why when I’m doing my weekly shopping at Publix you can always find me in the cereal isle. Cheerios have come a long way with Honey Nut Cheerios, Multi-Grain, original Cheerios and more.
Two of our favorites in the Shibley home are Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Golden Grahamn’s.
Big G Cereals at Publix
Both are a great choice for breakfast, wholesome and the perfect start to a day. Sometimes, or should I say often, my kids have “just enough” time to eat before they head of to a day full of learning. Being able to pour a bowl of cereal instead of slaving over a stove is the perfect option for our breakfast routine.
Big G Cereals Snacks on the Go
While Big G cereals are perfect for breakfast, as I mentioned, who said cereal is just for breakfast? Not me! A nice addition to a wholesome lunch packed in your child’s lunchbox or even your own lunchbox.
