In place of Tone It Up Tuesday since it kind of goes with the theme is my Cinch Review Day 3Ok so it is about 8:46 in the morning as I’m starting Day 4 of my 5-Day Fast Forward Trial and letting you know how Day 3 went and it is all I can do to sit here in type instead of getting up and running, doing jumping jacks, talking up a storm. I have so much energy it is so hard to sit here at work and concentrate. I guess that is not a bad problem to have.
Now as a note I did run yesterday so I do believe the energy level is a combination of both the eating and exercise. I just wanted to throw that out there so that everyone knew what I was doing in case they don’t experience the same results.
I did realize yesterday here in day 4 that I need to make a little change. In the book it states that you should eat one hour after you wake up and then no less then three hours and no more then 5 hours between meals. If you are not following this timing then you are not following the plan. However I will tell each of you that I DO NOT eat within one hour of waking. It is just not something I can fit into my daily schedule during the work week. I get up at 6:30 and I eat around 8:30.
I was trying to follow her sample plan of eating at 8:00, 12:30, 5:30 (more like 6:30) and then 10:00 (more like 9:30). However after reading that section again and seeing that it is only a sample time frame I’m switching mine up some today. My dinner for me is my last meal I do not feel the need or WANT to eat after that and I’m finding that waiting between lunch and dinner I find myself STARVING! So today my meals will be at 8:30, 12:30, 3:30 and then 7:30. I think the 3:30 snack will help me get through the day and then I won’t have to force myself to eat after dinner.
The meals for me are definitely getting tiring, I’m not one that likes to eat the same thing each day but I definitely find each day is easier to stay on plan then the next. I am having no cravings to stray or any desire to eat off plan. I do find that I’m eating to fuel my body instead of my taste buds. Which means I look at the clock see it is lunch time, eat, and don’t think about food again until it is time to eat once again. I think this is a HUGE key in trying to lose weight. Training your body to eat when it is hungry and to fuel it versus eating because something sounds good or looks good. When I’m not eating well and I’m eating junk foods I am NEVER hungry. Seriously my body never gives me cues that it is time to eat because I’m eating for taste, because it is there, or because it looks good.
So on to Day 4!!
Food:Meals are getting a little boring due to my need for variety, however they don’t taste nearly as bad as the first day as my body is getting use to the no sugar so things are tasting different.Mood: Great mood, but can’t wait for Day 5 to begin the Core program! Lots of energy, which does make it hard to get to sleep at night.
Physically: No noticeable differences this morning, since I’m wearing new clothes from Christmas I can’t really compare how they are fitting. However definitely feel my tummy has become less bloated over the past days.
Enjoy my camera phone photo this morning, my actual camera and I were having words and it one!
