Country Dance Wii was released March 29, 2011 and I am excited to be a reviewing participate. When I accepted this review my thoughts were that my little girl would enjoy it. She is a closet singer and dancer. By closet I mean she doesn’t usually let too many people see her doing it.
I was a little surprised that she was willing to play this game in front of anyone. Maybe she is more of a closet singer then dancer. Honey broke into the game immediately and figured out how to navigate through everything to get the game started. She played it everyday for a good 4 days in a row. I decided one day to join her and see what I thought of the game. I actually took some video of the two of us playing but sadly I’m a little to embarrassed and proud to post my dancing capabilities here. There is only such much fun you can make at yourself without being totally mortified.
I found the game very entertaining and fun. It was a great activity to share with my daughter and she really got enjoyment of playing together. The game comes with 4 activity levels so if you aren’t an expert I suggest you start with easy trust me even THAT level is challenging for newbies like myself.
The game includes some great country artist such as Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Zac Brown Band, Gretchen Wilson, Johnny Cash and many more. The game is 1 to 4 players depending on how many remotes you have; and includes 25+ chart-topping hits.
You can also challenge your friends to see who has the best moves. The one thing I would like to see is the ability to add more songs, maybe the option to download from the Wii store. Overall Honey and I found the game very entertaining and a good aerobic workout as well.
