Cupcake Race is a cute game by Endless games, and a recent activity in the Shibley household. My daughter rarely meets a game she doesn’t like as was the case with Cupcake Race. One evening during dinner I told her to break out the game and we would play. I was surprised to find that even the boys were willing to play with us. So with a special night of pizza in the four of us sat down for a race!
The object of the game is to be the first one to reach “The Party” with a full cupcake, wrapper, cupcake, frosting, and of course you can’t forget the sprinkles. You race around the board hoping to land on a positive number to collect sprinkles. The rules are a little vague so we kinda made up our own way to play. This left everyone on “Top It” trying to be the first one to get six different colored sprinkles and move on to “The Party” to collect their cherry. My youngest son who is forever winning any game we play was set to win. With the luck of the spin I managed to hop one space a head and take home the cherry! It was definitely a good laugh.
There’s a party tonight, and you (and your opponents) have been asked to bring the cupcakes. The Race is on! Be the first player to MIX, BAKE, FROST, and TOP your cupcake by visiting all 4 corners, and collect sprinkles along the way. The first player to reach the party with a completed cupcake and a sprinkle of each color wins the cherry to put on the top! “Mix it, Bake it, Frost it, Top it! So Much Fun, You Just Can’t Stop It!
The game was fun for me and the kids and I could see us playing another time or too. My age recommendation for this game would be 4-8. It is only a four player game which works for most families. I could definitely see this being a game that Honey might play with her girlfriends. It isn’t challenging but can be fun if you change up the rules and enjoy yourself.
Honey’s Own Review
When you play the Cupcake Race you first try to get to mix it and then you try to get to bake it then you try to get to frost it then you try to get to top it. My favorite part is the cherry because I love cherries.

This looks like a cute game! Rylie is just now at that age where she likes playing games, so I will have to add this to Santa’s list for this year. 😉 It seems simple enough for the little ones, and who doesn’t love cupcakes?
