Yogurt is one snack that when I trying my best to eat healthy is stocked in my refrigerator. If you must know my favorite flavor is cherry. In fact that is usually the only flavor I purchase. Greek yogurt, like Dannon Oikos has become very popular in the last years. I happen to know why, or at least I believe I know why Greek is preferred over regular yogurt. My own opinion is it is due to the protein content. Greek yogurt has quite a lot more protein in it over the average yogurt, thus providing you with more bang for you buck when having a mid morning snack. Helps get you through until lunch.

About Oikos Greek Yogurt
Oikos is the Greek word for house. It’s also the root word for ecology. We think it’s a great name for our Greek yogurt because it reminds us of a time when people’s homes were intimately connected with nature and most foods came from household gardens and family herds.
The people who bring you Oikos are passionate: about food, about life, and especially about Oikos. We believe that when it comes to food, you deserve the best. That’s why we put our hearts and souls into making Oikos. Our goal is simple: We want you to reward yourself every day with authentic, artisan Greek yogurt the way it was meant to be. Is Oikos possibly the best yogurt in the world? Try just one spoonful of our creamy-thick yogurt and see for yourself.
