Years ago when I was in high school one of my very first and favorite purchases was a black vanity table for my bedroom. Trust me it was not a state of the art vanity table but a very cheap vanity table that was put together with a few bolts but I was so proud of my purchase and I used that thing until it feel apart. It was a metal with no drawers, had a two level glass top and a mirror but to me it was the coolest thing.
I have a large bathroom now and lots of space to get ready but I kinda miss my vanity. I love the idea of sitting at your vanity table and getting ready for the day. Lately I’ve been shopping for antique vanities for bedrooms, now that my room is a little more “grown up” and antique vanity would look very nice. I have the perfect spot for it in my bedroom and it would look beautiful my only concern is the lighting. You know women lighting is everything when applying makeup. My bedroom furniture is light oak and I thought this would go well.
I’m not so sure however that my husband would be very keen on a new purchase such as this, or even adding more furniture to the bedroom. While I was researching I started to get off track when I came across bathroom vanities from Dreamline. I started dreaming of one day owning my own home and being able to really decorate it as I would like. I just love the look of the new vanities that have the bowl shaped sinks such as this one.
Do you use a vanity table?
