My children, especially my daughter, don’t love going to the dentist. However despite their dislike it is definitely a must. Just like annual doctor’s visits yearly (or twice a year) dentist visit is also necessary. Not everyone is able to get to the dentist for many different reasons. So Aspen Dental’s MouthMobile is bring dental treatment to the public.
NASCAR driver Danica Patrick teamed up with Aspen Dental to help raise awareness on the importance of oral health across America, offering 24-hours of free dental care to residents of the celebrity’s hometown of Roscoe, Illinois on September 10.
Did you know that more than 100 million people didn’t visit a dental office last year, and millions more live in communities where there is little to no access to dental care?
Once I received dental insurance I spent the time and money to do all the work I needed done. Thinking that if I had just went to the dentist each year I wouldn’t be in the position I was in. I have had root canals, wisdom teeth pulled, and deep cleanings. Dental care is so important as both a child and adult and can save you money and discomfort later on in life if you take care of your teeth. Preventive care will always be the best care when it comes to your teeth.
The service Aspen Dental is amazing and such a wonderful service to those that just can’t make it to the dentist.
“Dental care is the most common unmet health need in the U.S. Yet while the debate about healthcare has dominated the headlines in recent months, there has been very little discussion about oral health,” said Beth Truett, president and CEO of Oral Health America. “The Healthy Mouth Movement is a great opportunity for us to continue to not just raise awareness about these important issues, but also to connect people who need dental care with local resources.”

Great program! We had something similar come through our area last year, I hope the Aspen one comes though as well as I know there are so many people who need it.

The first thing that I notice about a person is their smile. It’s sad that everyone cannot afford dental care. That is so nice of Aspen Dental to do that.

I wish that we could have something this amazing in my town to help the uninsured with getting their teeth fixed. This is such a great program to be involved with!

My mom wasn’t so adamant about my dental care as a child, thus it has been a costly process of getting the “smile” I wanted over the years.

This is a wonderful service. Dental work is expensive and so many have to go without, it is a shame.

What a great program. It is so sad that so many people don’t have dental care. I really believe your dental health is tied into your physical health. I wish this program was offered in more locations.
