Quick you have 5 seconds to decide TV or computer? Which one is more of a necessity to you? For me it took me less than a second to decide. I can live without a TV any day, but my computer now that is a different story. Computers have become such a staple in our lives. In fact, kids are required to take online classes to graduate or create QR codes for projects.
When it comes to computers my family and often co-workers turn to me for help. Computers are a passion of mind. In fact, when I started college I decided to major in engineering. After two semesters I switched my major to computer programming. Though I never did finish computers have always stuck with me and with the internet they are such a wealth of information. (Back when I was actually interested in working with computers there was no such thing as internet-darn I feel old!)
Walmart recognizes that not everyone can just pick up a laptop and know the ins and outs. So they are hosting an HP Show and Tech class for anyone that needs a little help.
HP Show and Tech
This is great way to learn a little bit more about your computer. I’ll be honest my personal computer is a Mac. So when not too long ago we had the chance to review a HP Chromebook and HP Envy I was a little overwhelmed by the new Windows 8. The kids use the computers the most so I still know little about the operating system. A demonstration like this would help me become more familiar with Windows based systems.
So what if you want to learn how to use a laptop but don’t have one? Then we have the giveaway for you. Right now one lucky reader has the chance to win their own HP Chromebook 14. Consider it our Christmas gift to you.
