I have been in a definite “funk” this weekend. I’m not sure why but I battled with bouts of depression. I would be fine and then just feel so depressed. Considering all that is going on in my life I just can’t put my finger on why. I have had a lot of blessings and have some exciting events ahead of me. So today I’ve decided to talk myself into a good mood. The power of the mind is amazing so I’m starting the day out by saying “YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD DAY!”, and then I started singing the song “I Gotta a Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas and that in turn reminded me of this amazing and awesome video so I thought I would share.
If you missed this video about the Black Eyed Peas on Oprah Winfrey you have to watch it, it amazes me how this many people can work together to accomplish such an amazing task!

When I read this post it kind of gave me Deja ju and I say this because I’ve been in a depressing mode lately and I battle it as well. It definitely runs on my mom and dad side so I don’t know if it’s genetically inherited or not. I’ve just been really down lately and just been praying and praying asking God to help me through it. All of sudden a song came into my head that we use to sing when I was little in church. I think it was called, “I Gotta A Feeling” and some of the lyrics are: I gotta a feeling that everything’s gonna be alright, gonna be alright, oh I gotta feeling everything’s gonna be alright, be alright, be alright! When I seen your post I was like whoa! that’s pretty close to my story!! I really hope you start feeling better because I know how depression is such a hard thing to go through and get over. Especially not wanting to be around anyone, going outside, or even like to be touched. It sucks I’ve battled it off and on forever now. Never been on medication or anything for it just because I choose not to.
