After I got rid of my Ford Escape I found myself missing the larger trunk and just a bigger vehicle in general. When I was asked to take part of the #SiennaDiaries campaign and drive a 2014 Toyota Sienna for three months I was excited at the chance. We have had the Toyota Sienna for two weeks now and I am already hooked!
Over the next couple months we will be highlighting some of the amazing features of our 2014 Toyota Sienna. Features such as the captain chairs, seat warmers, dual sun roofs, and MORE! Due to this being such an awesome vehicle to drive my husband and I are sharing it. We switch off each week and the weeks I’m not driving it I can’t wait to get it back. I love it so much that I had to do a little research because I’m thinking that it may be time to upgrade.
While I love all the features my 2014 Toyota Sienna comes with, it is fully loaded, there are some that I could give up (if I must) in order to get it for a price I’m looking for. I was excited to see that the price is definitely affordable and within my budget. As a family of five we seriously need the extra room. Not only for the kids but lugging things around. Just the other day my husband and I bought a patio set and without the Toyota Sienna I would have had to call my mom to help us get it home.
We will also be moving soon, I know I keep saying this but they say be positive right? When we do start moving the Toyota Sienna will be a great vehicle to have to move our hundreds of boxes. Thankfully the home we are hoping to purchase is just under 2 miles away!
One feature that I love that I honestly think should be a mandatory feature on all new vehicles is the:
Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
It’s like a second set of eyes. Even when your Sienna’s outside mirrors are properly adjusted, you still may have trouble seeing cars to the side and rear of you in the next lane. Using radar technology, the available Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert can help warn you that a vehicle is there by illuminating an indicator on the appropriate outside mirror.
We are looking forward to driving the Toyota Sienna for the next couple of months and sharing our #SiennaDiaries!
I participated in the #SiennaDiaries campagin and am sponsored by TMS/USA.

We need the extra room as well! I think a blind spot monitor in all vehicles would be a smart thing to do!

It looks like a very roomy and family-friendly van! I’m loving that Blind Spot mirror, and I agree that it should be an essential feature added to every vehicle!

I agree with needing a large vehicle to get things home! We have a small Honda CR-V and a VW Jetta – we had to enlist the help of friends with a pick up truck to help get our new patio set home!

This looks so much nicer then what most people think when you think of a mini van. I really like that it has the Blind Spot monitor. Especially when you have kids learning to drive. That would come in handy!
