Every little girl needs a good stash of hair supplies, bows included. I was happy to do a review for LR Creations because one thing that I do enjoy with my blog is helping woman and mother’s who have their own business.
LR Creations was created by a mother of two little girls just recently in November 2010. She has taken her love of crafts and turned it into a business making fun and adorable bows. Honey was thrilled to be receiving a package from Lori. Now the thing with my daughter is she LOVES the look of bows but she never keeps them in her hair. She did manage to model a few for me so I could show them off to you.
The bows do very well staying in her thing hair when I can get her to leave them in for any length of time. She even hates sometimes having her hair in pony tails she likes to leave it down. She looks so adorable with bows and headbands. This was a great one for last Thursday (St. Patrick’s Day).
However Honey really loved the bow holder she received. Of course she had seen something similar at a friends house and was excited to have one herself. I was able to get a custom bow holder with an E for “E”ricka. We hung it in her room low enough so she could take car of her barrettes and bows herself.
We did have a little mishap with the hanger attached to the E. However since it was not within my view and Honey came to me and said “opps” this fell off I can’t vouch for what really happened. Since the E is made from wood it was no problem at all to add a picture hanger to the back of it which seemed to be a little more stable anyway. The only other addition I would like to make is to possibly paint a thin layer of clear gloss over the top portion (the entire wood panel with the E) just to give it a little shine instead of the wood look.
Lori has several different styles of bow holders to choose from and each one sells for $10.
You can find mini clips, small bows, medium bows, large bows, and beautiful flowers all for a reasonable price.
I encourage you to support Lori in her adventure into owning her own business. I too would one day love to take something I love and turn it into more then just a passion. I would love to share my passion with the world.
