One of the chores that I so dread doing is the laundry. I don’t know why it probably is one of the easier chores to do. It is probably because it is the chore that is never done. With six people living in our house in order to keep up with the laundry you would probably be safe doing a load a day. That would be the ideal situation. Sometimes I put the laundry into the dryer before I go to work. However that leaves me with having to start the dryer again to de-wrinkle the clothes. Yet still clothes tend to sometimes come up with just a hit of wrinkles, especially my husband work shirt. When I was given the chance to review Mister Steamy
the the revolutionary new dryer ball I thought it was worth a shot.
I received my Mister Steamy in the mail. It came with two balls and a bottle of fresh shot. To use Mister Steamy you simply fill the ball with 4 ounces of water and if you chose a cap full of fresh shot and throw it in the dryer. The steam is released as the dryer heats up helping de-wrinkle your clothes. Mister Steamy should last 3-6 months depending on how much it is used.
My findings: It definitely helped de-wrinkle the clothes more then a fabric softner sheet would have. They also came out light and airy to me. The fresh shot was not over powering or to be more specific it didn’t actually give the clothes any type of scent. The clothes just felt light and clean. My husband however prefers the scent of fabric softner sheets so I do occasionally still place a dryer sheet in with the Mister Steamy if the clothes are primarily his.
If you use your Mister Steamy all the time I believe it is definitely a savings over buying fabric sheets, for my laundry purpose it is a supplement to the items I already purchase. If I am in a hurry I will usually by pass Mister Steamy and just through in a sheet. This is due to the lack of a working sink in my laundry room, and I always get out a measuring cup so I don’t overfill it.
The only con I can find with it, is it is a little loud tumbling around in the dryer but I find that I usually tune that out once the dryer has been running for a few minutes. It is definitely an excellent item to help freshen up your clothes (which happens often around here) and de-wrinkle quickly. Lazy me always uses the dryer first and iron second.
Disclaimer:I received the product above for the purpose of reviewing and giving my honest opinion. This post is my honest opinion and was not swayed in anyway buy receiving this product. You may read more of my disclosure here.

I've been wondering how those work. I have a washer ball (the Oransi) so I've thought about getting a dryer ball, too. Thanks for the review!
