My daughter is not a pink and pretty type of girl. No flowers, ruffles, and princesses for this girl. She is definitely spunky, sporty, and quite the creative one. If I must admit it is a relief for me that she turned out this way. I never liked the girly things when I was young. I rebelled against heels and dresses and preferred to run out in the neighborhood with the boys. One of my best friends in high school was a boy. So where am I going with all of this? Well it is a stereotype that girls enjoy playing with dolls. I would say that is not my daughter except they have come out with so many different brands of dolls to appeal to all little girls. For example the Monster High line with it’s logo a skull with pink bow, is definitely a line of dolls my daughter enjoys. It is her style not frilly dresses and princesses like features but spunky and fun just like her.
Monster High has a new doll they just released called Catty Noir.
Monster High Catty Noir
She may have some frills but it is the no-nonsense kinda frills with her thigh high silver boots. Catty Noir is my daughters kinda doll she looks confident in her own style as does many of the Monster High characters. Did you know that Catty Noir made her appearance on Friday the 13th? Some how that seems fitting for her. You know black cats and Friday the 13th do have a few things in common.
