If you know a teacher that you think is just amazing and needs a little recognition then you should enter them for “Pollo Tropical Teacher of the Year“. The restaurant chain is encouraging people in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties to rally in support of its school teachers and nominate them for the Pollo Tropical Teachers of the Year awards!
A teacher in each county will be selected by receiving the highest number of nominating votes, and then recognized as that county’s Pollo Tropical Teacher of the Year. The winning teachers will receive Pollo Tropical complimentary coupons valid for Free Pollo Tropical for a year and a Golden Apple Award.
Additionally, the school in each county that originates the most teacher nominations will win a $500 Pollo Tropical donation to its student activities fund.
The Pollo Tropical Teacher of the Year campaign is part of the brand’s emphasis on education in the communities it serves. Those who nominate win too! Just by nominating their favorite teacher and joining Pollo Rewards$™, customers are rewarded with a free Guava Bar with any purchase.
Nominations must include the teacher’s full name, school name, school address, school phone number and the subject and grade taught by the nominated teacher. Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013. All public, private and charter school teachers are eligible in the following participating counties:
Florida: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Osceola, Lake, Orange, Seminole, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Duval, Lee, Collier and Brevard counties
