OREO is celebrating 100 years this month and is challenging you to “Celebrate the Kid Inside“. While 100 years seems like a long time for a cookie honestly I can’t imagine a time without OREO. Of course since I’m not even close to 100 that means there has never been a time in my life when OREO wasn’t around. When asked to contemplate your earliest OREO memory I honestly can not remember. It seems that OREO was just always there.
If I had to really sort through the memory banks I would have to imagine my first memory was of that white creamy filling. Twisting the two crispy OREO cookies apart to lick the frosting until there was no more or the cookie crumbled in your hands. OREO seems to always come with a challenge. You never just EAT an OREO, it is almost disrespectful don’t you think? This is what I imagine I looked like in my earlier years eating the scrumptious OREO.
I’ve never been an OREO dunker it was all about the white creamy middle when I was young! However I was definitely a half or full bag type of kid. I could never eat JUST ONE OREO. Just when you think you have had enough and taken a big swallow of milk you feel that small little craving creep up for just one more, then another, then another, until OH NO you have eaten half a bag!
I would LOVE to hear your first memory of eating an OREO, and see you have a chance at the $200!
