My husband and I were excited to enjoy a five day weekend this past holiday weekend. We kicked off the weekend with my son’s graduation. His graduation was smack dab in the middle of the day at noon. We had to get to the expo center at 10:30 and were there until 2pm. Needless to say we had a few hungry kids. Thankfully I was smart and brought along a few Quaker Chewy Bars. After shopping for a car all day Saturday we were ready for our Pre-Memorial day party. We invited a few friends over and enjoyed some fun, friends, family, and great food. Quaker sent us a fun playdate kit to enjoy at our party.

The boys had a great time kicking the Nerf Bash Ball around, making sure to keep it far away from the canal in the back yard. While the girls enjoyed the bubbles and great tunes. We had the music blaring and the grill smoking on a beautiful sunny day here in South Florida.
We didn’t really do the appetizer thing this weekend so instead we just grabbed a few snacks and drinks for everyone to enjoy in between lunch. We spent hours outside swimming, dancing, laughing and having a great time. The kids LOVED the Quaker® Chewy® Granola Bars and each of them had their favorite!
The great thing about Quaker Chewy Granola Bars is they contain 8 grams of whole grains and come in delectably fun flavors like Chocolate Chip, S’mores and Oatmeal Raisin. My daughter’s favorite was the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, while her best friend preferred the S’mores. My husband is a fan of the Oatmeal raisin and I’m more of a sweet & salty gal and prefer the Caramel Popcorn Crunch.
Quaker Chewy is a perfect, hassle-free snack that provides families with the fuel they want to help keep playing and sharing the fun together. Which was perfect because everyone could grab them as they wanted and get back to pool!
