One thing that is easy and fun to do together as a family is watch a movie. Even better is watching one that cost about a buck like those at Redbox. Ever since they came out with the express machines available and so many locations these have been our “go to” stop for movies.
It is not easy to find a movie that everyone likes when the age range is so varied. Thankfully my oldest son, though 15, is a good sport and enjoys watching movies with his sister. We let Honey pick our recent “ Family Fun Night” movie and she decided to pick “Alvin & The Chipmunks – Chipwrecked”
Honey and I had seen this together in the movie theater when it came out and she did a lot of laughing. I have always loved the chipmunks and found it rather cute. What is really cute is how my daughter explains the match up among the girl and boy chipmunks and how it flows over to their clothing.
Alvin + Brittany = red + pink
Simon + Jeanette = blue + purple
Theodore + Eleanor = dark green + light green
I was hoping she would explain her explanation of the relationship and how the outfits are a part of it on the below interview but she said no. We had a great time getting the kids to do a mock up interview of a review of “Alvin & The Chipmunks – Chipwrecked”. Lets just say Honey is a woman of few words 😉
I would love to know a movie you consider a great family fun movie. Check out how to win a family trip to Kennedy Space Center. I’ve never been (even living in Florida) and think it would be a blast! Rent movies likeAlvin & The Chipmunks Chipwrecked and many other family fun titles, like Space Dogs this summer for a chance to win a family trip to the Kennedy Space Center!Official Sweepstakes Rules
