A rose is my favorite flower. The smell is amazing and beautiful and they look gorgeous. However did you know the color of a rose has a specific meaning? I’ve always known a few of the colors and their meanings but thought it would be fun to do some additional research. So guys (or girls) if you ever wondered what your roses meant here is a quick run down.
Colors of a Rose and Its Meaning
Single Red Rose: “I Love You”
Yellow with Red Tip: Friends, but falling in love
Pink: Thank You
Lavender: Love at First Sight
Red and White: Together means Unity
So the next time you decide to send some roses make them mean something. Maybe a beautiful bouquet of pink flowers to the neighbor who made you a casserole in a time of need. A single red rose to the one you love or combine it with a white one to say “together forever”. Or if you really want to show you are a little “frisky” send a coral rose to a boyfriend, girlfriend, or significant other.
