As a New-Skin Ambassador I have been motivated to run/walk as much as I can each day. I originally planned on trying to complete the couch to 5K program but I’m finding it hard to stay on track. So I’m re-adjusting my goals to be getting in a walk/run 3 times a week. Here in South Florida it is hard to find any time of the day when going outside doesn’t immediately cause you to melt when your feet hit the pavement. For that reason when it gets to be dead middle of the summer we take our running indoors.
Yes, the dreaded treadmill. I much prefer to run outside but I can get in a longer workout if I stay inside these days. One of the reason’s for my lack of “completing the program” is I’m dealing with a case of planter fasciitis and running is not the best thing for it. However I hate not getting in exercise so I put on my athletic shoes with some special supports and do a little walking. Walking inside means less chances of scraps and bruises from the outside elements. New-Skin, has some great products to help should I still end up with a scrap or two. One of my favorite New-Skin products is the liquid bandage spray.
New-Skin® Liquid Bandage dries rapidly to form a tough protective cover that is antiseptic, flexible, waterproof, and lets skin breathe. It protects the wound by keeping out dirt and germs and provides protection against infection with an antiseptic.
Often if you have a scrap or cut and cover it with a bandage of some sort and then run, walk, exercise, or anything that causes you to move the bandage starts to get loose and fall off. Often sweat from your workout can interfere or taking a shower afterwards and you know that bandage is not going to survive. I love that the New-Skin® Liquid Bandage is waterproof. I probably use the New-Skin® Liquid Bandage more for the kids then anyone else. Not one of them care for bandages, they hate taking them off or if it is in an awkward place it just won’t stay on. Having an antiseptic spray that doubles as a layer of protection (like a bandage) is a life saver.
The New-Skin® Liquid Bandage is just one of the great products by New-Skin and I encourage you to check out the New-Skin Facebook page for information on more products that can help you with your workout routine, or every day family needs.
According to a recent survey by New-Skin®, nearly one in five runner respondents said that they either often or occasionally experience minor injuries such blisters or chaffing when they run, jog, power-walk, etc. The New-Skin products have you covered whether you’re playing ball, hiking, or enjoying an afternoon in the garden.

Congratulations on your Ambassadorship! I have really slacked off in the fitness department but need to get moving more.
