Are you one of those people that will cross the street because the gas is 3 cents cheaper on the other side? Or do you have an app that will show you the cheapest place to get gas? What if you do all that and you end up with a not so great quality gas. How about just saving when you fuel up at your favorite gas station?

I almost always fill up at the Shell station up the street. It is easy and convenient and I know I’m getting good quality gas in my car. In fact I fill up there so much that when I was introduced to the fuel rewards network (FRN) I figured it was a no brainer.
Now I can earn rewards doing the things I love and save when I fill up at the pump. So buy doing things like this…..
I can decrease the price of my gas.
Ways to earn FRN Rewards
- Shopping Online
- Dine Out
- Buy Groceries
- Get eCoupons
- Shop at Shell
- Use your FRN Mastercard
- Use your Mastercard
- Refer a Friend
How to Redeem Your Rewards
When you are at the pump, you’ll insert your FRN Card or participating grocer’s reward card first to lower your price. After you follow the relevant prompts, insert your payment method and dispense up to a maximum of 20 gallons of fuel per purchase, per vehicle. If you’d like to pay inside, hand the cashier your rewards card before you attempt to fill up so that they can lower the price at the pump for you.
I don’t know about you but when I’m dining out I don’t want to give them my credit card AND my FRN card to try to get my points. No problem all you have to do is link up your credit card to your FRN card and then simply give the waiter your normal credit card.
Link your MasterCard to your FRN Account, and increase your opportunities to earn Fuel Rewards savings. For example, right now, earn a 5¢/gal bonus just for linking your first MasterCard to your FRN Account. And that’s before you start shopping!
I’ve already earned my first reward!

We usually go to our grocery store, if we pay by debit card we get 10 cents off a gallon and then we can collect reward points and every dollar spent is a point and then each 100 points gets you another 10 cents off per gallon and you can use up to a $1.00 off per gallon at once! (Our daughter also works at the store, so we feel kind of loyal, LOL!)

I live in a rural area and there’s no Shell station in my area that I would pass regularly. But like you, my son live’s in a neighborhood that’s almost a stone’s throw from a Shell station and I know for a fact that he uses it all of the time. So I’m going to pass this on to him. I am hoping that he already has it!

I’ve been signed up for it for awhile but haven’t taken advantage yet, I get overwhelmed by all the different savings/cash back programs but I definitely need to incorporate this into my life.
