In the past two years since I began blogging I have been spoiled and pampered in many ways. One of my favorite is our hotel accommodations when we travel as a family. It use to be the five of us could fit into one room with Honey being so tiny she could sleep in between my husband and I or the boys. However now that my oldest son is taller then me and Honey has much longer legs we have out grown the days of one hotel room. Thankful there are awesome hotels like Residence Inn Marriott.
When we travel as a family we now must book either adjoining rooms or suites in order to fit all of us. If for any reason we are staying for an extended period of time, like we did when we traveled to Virginia for my husband’s daughter’s graduation. Residence Inn Marriott has extended stay suites. Check out this floor plan that includes two bedrooms.
It is basically a home away from home with 3 televisions, a fully equipped kitchen, and of course the necessary free high-speed Wi-Fi (which as a blogger is definitely a must). Here are a handful of features Residence Inn Marriott has to offer.
Residence Inn Marriott Features
- Spacious suites with room for everyone to spread out
- Fully equipped in-suite kitchens with full size refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves
- Free daily hot breakfast (with healthy and indulgent options)
- Free Wi-Fi in guest suites and common areas
- Free grocery delivery service and a convenient 24-hour market
- On-site laundry facilities
- Fitness centers
- Pools (indoor or outdoor depending on the location)
We currently do not have any travel plans. Well that is not exactly true, my husband will be traveling to Virginia in June but since that trip will be a quick one and he will be going on his own he will be staying with family. However when we do plan our next vacation I will definitely checking to see if a Residents Inn Marriott is near our destination. In fact if you would like to check to see if there is one for your next vacation check out this property locator.
How about you, do you skimp when it comes to your hotel to save money? Or do you go for luxury instead to enjoy where you lay your head?
