I hate when I procrastinate, unfortunately I do it quite often. This school year is no different, actually last school year I was totally ahead of the game when it came to back-to-school shopping. This year with our cruise, work, and blogging the end of summer just kinda crept up on me. In fact there is less then one week until school begins. So this past weekend Honey, my mother, and I hit the stores armed with school supply lists, and must get clothing ideas.
Our first stop was Target. If you remember we received an inspirational Stylagram based on a photo I submitted of Honey. If you missed it here is the video again, and you can check out my post about how to be featured in your on Stylagram @Target.

Back-To-School Shopping Begins
We still had not purchased any school supplies yet so we headed to the back of the store to grab a few necessities. She absolutely loved the little Sharpie’s in the photo so since they were her fav and featured I let her pick up a couple. She wanted one of each color but I asked her to pick two, they were only $1 each. She grabbed the blue ruler and a few other supplies and we moved on to our next stop.
We saved the clothes shopping for last as I knew this is where we would be spending the most time. Honey really needed school uniforms but she is so picky and there was little left in the store. So instead Honey was able to shop for “fun” clothes. She really wanted to find the jeans featured in her video. We were easily able to find them so into our cart they went, along with this black jacket that she was mooning over.
I think we took about 12 items into the changing room. This is a pretty good amount for Honey. I mentioned she was quite picky which means it is usually hard to find too many things she really likes. She was finding all kinds of items, she is really into neon and animal print clothing. She tried on many pairs of jeans and shorts and decided on two pairs of jeans. One pair was white and the other were….you guessed it…..animal print. These were by far her favorite and kinda match her shoes. She also ending up getting the black jacket pictured above.
Honey #KidsGotStyle For Sure
No outfit is complete without hair accessories. Oh maybe I forgot to mention my daughter doesn’t wear hair accessories in her hair she wears them on her arm.
We picked up a few more things while on our Target shopping spree including one pair of school shorts for my youngest son. Otherwise this first stop was all about Honey and her fun fashion style.
Expect more. Pay less.
