This post brought to you by Social Power. All opinions are 100% mine.
Do you always have great ideas but no one to hear your voice? Something so simple that it should be initiated immediately? For example why does Apple make all their charging cords and headphones white yet have black phones? Wouldn't it be nice to have both cords black to match your phone? This is just one issue I recently saw at Social Power and immediately gave a thumbs up! Seems pretty obvious to me.
Never heard of Social Power? I didn't either until I was recently introduced and I actually love the idea of the site. Here is a quick video on how Social Power can make a difference
I've already signed up and browsed the site. Issues range from things like preparation for college to wanting Chipolte to deliver. I had a great time browsing the site and liking and sharing issues that I would love to see initiated. Then I created my own "fun" issue. To set the scene I just got back from a trip to Walmart with my daughter. My husband shop their once a week for groceries.
Many months ago our local Walmart use to have a sign that said all registers would be open. However every time I visited this never once the case. For a store that gets so many customers that it is often hard to find a parking spot in the huge parking lot, you would think they would have the majority of their registers open to get customers through lines and out faster. I would LOVE for you to support my issue as well as share it : Social Power Issue
If an issue is created and can get over 1000 supporters to like the issue then Social Power will make it an initiative to make the change. There are so many times that I think to myself why doesn't this product include this or do this? Or why doesn't this service offer this or that? I love the idea of sharing your issue via Social Power and seeing if your idea can create a change.
What issue would you like to see solved by Social Power?

I think I’d be looking to add traffic lights to certain intersections and that type of thing.

I like this idea. I think the school day should be shorter for children. 7-8 hours is a long time at school and then add on 2 hours of homework. It’s a joke.

Too many things I would like to change… hard to pick just one.

What a great idea! I will have to think about what I would want to change.
