I have to say that even though the shelves are full of holiday cheer, and a few people have put up there lights I still haven’t gotten into the Christmas spirit. When I get so busy with work, family, and everything in between I forget to slow down and enjoy the moment. So my goal this week is to do just that! I got into the garage and pulled out the boxes and boxes of decorations and this week we will be adding all kinds of Christmas cheer to the Shibley household.
My daughter is all about Christmas and already has her Christmas tree set up in her room with decorations and the presents she bought at her holiday gift shop underneath it. She just received a special message in her email box today from the big man himself (Santa of course). Thanks to the Portable North Pole Santa was able to send her a personalized video message so she knows he is paying special attention to her and her brothers.
I have to say the video is super cute! I couldn’t wait to sit down and show Honey. It was easy to create. I just answered a few questions and uploaded some photos. Honey got to visit Santa and his reindeers as he took her through his shop and even found her special book. She got to watch a movie of special moments from the past year and see if Santa had her on the naughty or nice list. I wish I could post the video here for you to see but it doesn’t appear to have the option without downloading and re-uploading so if you would like to see it here is a link: Video from Santa.
I told Honey that she received an email sent to me (she doesn’t really do the email thing herself). We sat and watched the video and every time Santa would call her name or show her a photo of people she recognized she would squeeze me a little tighter. Now that she is 8 years old I know she is getting closer to the age when Santa will be an imaginary person. Her brothers are 16 and 13 and have known for quite a few years, so we are doing all that we can to carry on the fun. Thanks to videos like this one from the Portable North Pole it makes our job a lot easier.
There are many things you can purchase to help carry on the belief of Santa, reindeers, and elves. For example you can even schedule a call from the North Pole to your child. Thanks to our special package we received to review the Portable North Pole products we have the opportunity to send a call. My daughter is rather shy on the phone and I’m pretty sure I couldn’t get her to listen, even if it is a call from Santa. So this year I’m going to send the call to my nephew. I can already picture his eyes getting big as he is so full of expressions and excitement.
The most popular PNP product is by far the personalized video message…but Santa and his elves offer a whole host of other personalized products, too, like the newly update iOS and Droid apps. I also love the personalized coloring book! My daughter is very creative and loves to draw, color, and do just about all kinds of crafts. I’ve ordered one and can’t wait for it to arrive.
PNP donates 5% of all online sales to a Children’s Hospital close to the buyer’s location. PNP currently collaborates with over 40 regional Children’s Hospitals in the U.S. This is another creative incentive to purchase products from the Portable North Pole.
