This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine.
I know that it is hard to believe especially if you live up north, but spring is right around the corner which means the yearly Spring Cleaning and organizing of closets, cupboards, and drawers is upon us.
I have a routine for spring cleaning that I do each year. Frst I go shopping for all my cleaning supplies, this year I picked up the Dollar General ad and noticed how inexpensive the DG brand of cleaning supplies is so I went to my local Dollar General and purchased all my supplies. My spring cleaning is normally a roll up your sleeves, put on cleaning clothes, rubber gloves and start scrubbing event that takes the entire weekend.
I start with my cupboards and drawers in kitchen. The cupboard under the sink always seems to get the least attention, in my house anyway, and my silverware draw happens to collect more then silverware.
I emptied the cupboard, and drawer sprayed the DG cleaner with bleach that I purchased and scrubbed away.
Once I finished organizing the kitchen I went on to one of my least favorite things to clean, the oven
Another cleaning supply I purchased from Dollar General was fume free oven cleaner, so I sprayed it down waited over night and wiped it clean in the morning.
I also purchased Dollar General brand cleaning supplies for the bathroom such as Antibacterial foaming bathroom disinfectant, toliet bowl cleaner, and mold & mildew remover. I picked up some Glass cleaner, home disinficant wipes, sponges and dish liquid as well all for a fraction of the cost of national brands and all of these clean just as well if not better then the national brands.
I am my very pleased that my spring cleaning is done for this year, and even happier that I saved so much money buying DG cleaning supplies. I love a clean and organized home, in fact I think I will go out to dinner with some of my savings, of course you don't have to take my word for it, visit your local Dollar General and you will see for yourself how amazing the prices are for all your Spring Cleaning needs.

I would have to agree with the oven being my least favorite! We have a self cleaning oven but we almost have to be outside to use it because of the odor it emits. Like that you found fume free oven cleaner. I might have to look into that!

The label said safe for self cleaning ovens too.

I picked up some other things I needed like hamburger buns, batteries, hair ties and orange juice while I was there which meant I didn’t have to make anymore stops.

Thanks, I don’t like doing it but I sure like it when it is done.

Wow your oven looks amazing! I’d say the oven and the bathrooms are my least favorite.

I couldn’t agree with you more, that is why I try and get it out of the way!

I hate spring cleaning all together! 🙂 I’ve been doing the 40 bags in 40 days challenge, though, and that’s helping me get through it.

Awesome, it should be a spring breeze this year…lol

Spring cleaning is something I loathe doing and the two things that I dread the most is organizing and cleaning out all of my appliances.

Probably the bathrooms. We love Dollar General and always find great stuff there!

Oh, wow — I’ve never thought about getting cleaning supplies there!

My least favorite is the bathroom. There are the obvious reasons {it’s yucky} but I mostly hate it because of how much dust & hair/fur gets everywhere in there- it’s a huge pain to clean up!

I wish that there was a Dollar general near me. They seem to have great prices. I also hate cleaning the oven because whatever I use makes my husband asthmatic.
