Do you find that certain foods invoke particular memories? For me “desserts” always remind me of a big dinner with my family, such as Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. After the dinner is done the dessert is served. It is at this time that everyone is relaxed and in a great mood. Stories of childhood, a past experience, or stories of our own children come out. A good time is had by all right their around the dinner table.
Of course these times are always just a little better with a great dessert. I’m not the best cook but I’ve always enjoyed baking and making sweet treats. I like to find something unique and new to bring to the table. Check out this video below showcasing a yummy Strawberry Napoleon from Carla Hall of “The Chew”
